Rapid Antigen Testing for COVID-19

Travel Health Services of Lancaster provides rapid diagnostic testing in our office for SARS- CoV 2 antigens. An experienced, licensed nurse uses a nasal swab and completes the testing in our office within 10-15 minutes. A medical certificate is provided at that time of the visit. A doctor’s order is not necessary. An appointment is needed as we sanitize and allow distancing between appointments. There might be a delay from the initial infection to the time the antigens can be detected in this specific type of testing.

RT-PCR COVID-19 Testing

We provide this molecular diagnostic test done in our office for COVID-19. An experienced, licensed nurse uses a nasopharyngeal swab and the specimen is sent to a lab. Priority requested test results are obtained in time for most international travel departure requirements and emailed or available for pick-up in our office along with a signed medical certificate. A physician’s order is not necessary. An appointment is necessary so we can sanitize and allow distancing between appointments. PCR testing is very sensitive in detection of the coronavirus. A lab processed CLIA certified lab report as well as a Medical Certificate will be provided
